There are projectors and there are projectors.Did B&H make a stereo projector?

Hi,
I worked in a camera store 1970-1973 and the only B&H slide projector that I remember was the B&H Cube projector. I hated it, it would always jam and I tried to steer customers toward the Kodak Carousel or Sawyers. That add you posted must be from before 1969, that projector was gone by then.

If that ad is from pre-1969 period I'd say those two Canons I see have probably dropped a lot in value also. Or just plain dropped!

If one looks carefully at the lower right of the photograph a slide projector may be seen.

Because the image is not very sharp and the controlling side is, hmmm...obstructed, I can't tell which Monitor this is (that, or I'm too busy monitoring the model), but my Bell and Howell Monitor 706 looks like it may be a match (Go to the "What waS your last..." thread, to post #1723, posted Apr 17, 2016).

If you look at the very bottom it's marked Photo Digest June, 1959.

I found this in a Yahoo article about advertisements which would be inappropriate today.

Yes, today she would have to have a lot less clothes on. Maybe a G-string and a very skimpy top would be appropriate today.

TDC (Third Dimension Company) made the most popular line of stereo projectors, and Bell and Howell did acquire TDC (and built their slide projector line from TDC's).

If they continued to make stereo projectors after the acquisition, they thus did.

The may have stopped making stereo projectors so they could ramp up production of 2D projectors and sell them through the much larger dealer network B&H had (in comparison to TDC's).
