I bought a couple of Panasonic Lumix ZS6's and a ZS8 a while back and absolutely love them. They feel like camera jewelry to me and take great pictures. I actually just keep the cameras on the iA setting most of the time, but it's nice to have manual settings.

I don't know anything about the other Lumix models. I wouldn't mind hearing one way or the other in case I want to get another one.

Any Lumix lovers out there?

I really like my LX100. The Panasonic/Lumix color science is really good in my view. The lens is so sharp, even with a M4/3 sensor and smaller res (16MP), the image quality is amazing. I also love that it has a traditional camera interface with the aperture ring on the lens barrel and shutter speed dial on the top plate. I usually have it where ever I go.

I'm going to have to look up that model. I agree that the lens is very sharp on my Lumix's and I, too, am constantly amazed at the image quality. IMHO, they are incredible values.

My main camera is a Lumix G70. I originally bought it new with an Olympus 18-35mm but after the aperture failed I moved to a TTArtisan 25mm, I also have an adapter for Contax/Yashica lens 'cause I own quite a few, and it's good glass.
I absolutely love this camera. It's small, feels well built, good photos and videos, and I can use it up to 26800 iso with decent noise (I rarely do so, my normal max is 6400).

I checked and they're not too expensive on ebay. How are the video capabilities? With the articulating screen can you see how the camera is framing you if you're vlogging?

I use a Lumix GX85 as my "fast and light system." It definitely shows its age and entry-level price point, particularly in the EVF and the autofocus system. But it's put some great shots "in the can" for me that I would have been unlikely to get with my with my heavier gear. The 12-32mm lens is a nice "lens cap" lens. The 8-18mm and 12-60mm "Leica" badged lenses are very nice, but not all that lightweight.

I've also used it with an adapter and 200-500mm lens:

panasonic dc-gx9 love it, size, quality, well made... just works. I have 2 identical bodies, so don't have to do lens swapping in the filed. they've held up[.

really only use for still photography since i'm not a vlogger. I've made a few video's, just trying it out... seems easy and good quality. I would love it if panasonic or olympus would strip it over video stuff and make a "still" sans all the menu options and complications

The video is very nice, I mostly only take photographs but people that are more used to video work told me it's very nice. Yes, the revolving screen allows for vlogging (tried once) and the auto-brightness allows to use it in sunlight. You can also connect to the camera via WIFI, and use your phone/tablet as live view monitor and controll (even MF if you have a motorized lens), I use it for scanning negatives.

Good to know. I wonder how the G7 compares in size to my ZS6's. Of course, those don't have removal lenses. I don't have any experience with lens adapters. It's good to know those exist in case I get one of these G7's.
