Any good events this weekend to shoot?

Hey guys,

thought i I would ask if there is any cool event in your town to go to shoot this weekend? I'll start it off. Saturday the is a place call "farm and Table". They are have a Cinco de Mayo festival event with vendors and music. Also, free comic book day. There is a really cool comic book store near university that should yield some interesting characters. Sunday at local park the city is sponsoring another Cinco event with dancing food and music. Lots of street photography and people shots. Taking my Rollei T and Leica M3. Any event where you live this weekend?

My daughter and her friend will be parasailing tomorrow. I'll be shooting that 'event'.

I'm sure there are plenty of events in any city.

But, one that is a global one, or as near as that is the "Wings for Life World Run" happening today. They are raising funds for the Wings for Life Foundation in order to advance a cure for spinal cord injuries.
I know someone in Sweden who is paralysed from the chest down due to a skiing accident 14 months ago. He will be in his wheelchair.
So, if you see one Run on your town, please support them.

In London, there's also some Coffee Festival.

We have a Steam fair, with steam engines, barn engines, the Land Rover clubs driving course and lots of Classic Cars, I will be there with my Classic Saab and my Camera, Next weekend we have a huge celebration over her, on the 70th year since we were liberated from the German occupation,we were the only part of the UK occupied by the Germans in WW2, and the celebrations go on all day, I will be there with a camera

There's a big cycling event in my city this weekend and I will do my best to avoid it, I couldn't be more disinterested.

I live in the Spokane, Washington area and this morning was the annual Lilac Bloomsday run, with 45,000 runners. Yesterday, in the town of Wenatchee was the annual Apple Blossom Festival parade and related events. But I am too far behind in my yardwork to shoot either.
