Holly crap this stuff lasts FOREVER! Mixed up a jug last January and it's still cranking out full tone prints.

Do you also have some of this mixed-up to use as a film developer? I have read great things about this developer as a film developer in addition to being a great paper developer........Regards!

that stock will last until at least next january !
in an open tray, dilute it lasts about a month .. :smile:

You put it in PET plastic bottles, filled to the rim, and it will last until past September ... 2030! - David Lyga
 
love the 130. I mixed up 5 liters worth and put it in a wine bag/box of wine. still working on one mixed 3+ years ago. perfect as always with this developer.
 
Ansco uses Glycin as one of the developing agents. Paradoxically Glycin is not very stable in dry form (as many users can attest) but unusually stable when dissolved in a sulfite solution like Ansco 130. It is powerful but slow working. In its action it is similar to metol but is much more sensitive to bromide.
