Is there any developer out there except from FORMULARY 130 that is similar to Ansco 130? I have a hard time finding a developer like this from any of the majors suppliers like BH Photovideo or Freestyle. They do not sell FORMULARY 130.

formulary 130 IS ansco/gaf/agfa 130 ...

the formulary is one of the only places left to make glycin, if you buy it from them
directly you can assure your chemistry is fresh ...

good luck !

If you intend to make your own, the Photographer's Formulary advises not to buy too much as it does not keep well in powder form. It is, however, very long lived in solution. Even the working solutions are long lived.

I am assuming freezing helps keep glycin fresh. Can anyone confirm that?

I have kept it frozen for more than a year at around 0 degrees F and it seemed unchanged from fresh and others have posted similar results here before.

I can confirm it regarding the powder form of the raw chemical. See my earlier post (there was a url link here which no longer exists) for a more detailed description.
