I love Ilfords products, but have been wondering why they put 25 sheets in each box and not 24 or 26. I am thing that almos all user will have double sided filmholders. Kodak, Adox and almost everyone else have 50 sheets in their packs. I dont mind that the pack is with 25 sheets, just curions.

They want to force you to buy another box.

Actually, they are only charging you for 24 sheets, and the 25th sheet is a free bonus.

I always buy two at a time, just because of that

Sounds like their evil plan is working. They hook you and, because you need that 1 more shot, you have to buy a second box from the local pusher man.

Do you know why its 25 ?...because its always been 25....

I do see your point, but it will not change..

I don't have that problem any more, I purchase Ilford 5x4 FP4+ & FP5+ 100 sheet boxes from Badger in the USA.

One of the better and cheaper ways to purchase Ilford 4x5 sheet film. Literally half the price of purchasing it from anywhere in Australia, including all freight

The Australian distributor won't stock Ilford 5x4 in 100 sheet boxes, which is fine, I just purchase elsewhere. At least I can get what I want, I just have to purchase with some lateral thinking..

Mick.
