Another oddness

So I hit the wrong button here first off. I just got back the first roll of color I put through the Kowa, and I didn't get any of the film edge burning that happened with the first roll. Yay. In fact, the pics seem to have mostly come out well except maybe being a tad overexposed. One problem I've been having is that when I hold the camera in what seems to me to be a level position, the image I see in the viewfinder is skewed, and I have to tilt the camera a bit to get it level. Otherwise it comes out looking like the attachment here. I suppose it can be cropped in the darkroom, but perhaps this indicates something internal is misaligned? The film seems to be going through straight.

Are you saying the viewfinder represents the photograph acurrately, and to make the image in the vewfinder level the camera must be held off level, and the resulting photograph is level as it was seen in the viewfinder?? (whew!)

Yes, that seems to be the case.

1) You see the image tilted in the view finder.
2) You tilt the camera to correct the view finder.
3) The photo is tilted.

Therefore the camera is correct and the problem is that the view finder is tilted and not the camera.

Put the camera on a table.
The view finder will show a tilted image.
Do not move the camera, open the back. With ground glass or wax paper you will see an inverted image the is not tilted.

Mystery solved.
