For sale today is a (another) Canon Canonet QL17 GIII rangefinder camera, this time in in excellent condition.
This camera is in excellent cosmetic, mechanical, electrical, and optical condition, with very minimal signs of use. The viewfinder and rf patch are both clear and bright. The rangefinder appears to be in proper alignment both horizontally and vertically. The meter is working, as are the automatic functions. The original foam light seals have been replaced. The chrome is free of dings, dents, or scratches, with only some small bright marks near the strap lugs, and a minor circular scratch around the tripod socket. The leatherette is intact, tight, clean, and free of defects. The battery compartment is free of any sign of corrosion.
The filter ring is clean and intact. the lens is clean, clear, and free of defects. The shutter and aperture are clean and working as they should. The focus is smooth, and the aperture and shutter speed rings both move freely. The self-timer works, and there is no lens wobble. This is an excellent example of this camera, and it has been well cared for.
