I would like to acquire a winding handle for my Bronica ETRs and a viewing screen. Haven't seen any come up on Ebay and didn't see any on the KEH site. Does any one here have these items they would be interested in selling or know which other company might stock these items. Thanks.

Hey Frank I was looking for the same things, I found one of the winding cranks on KEH (not sure if I bought the only one, but they had it listed) and I've seen the screens come up on eBay lately. Just do a broad search for Bronica or Bronica ETR and they come up.

Yep, just keep looking. Koh's Camera www.kohscamera.com, has new matte screens for around $65. The winding handles seem to be harder to find, but KEH often has them. You also might be able to snag an ETR or ETRS cheap that has one for not much more than KEH's $41 price for the handle.

Just a viewing screen? I've seen several on eBay and bought a 35/35W screen for myself just last week. If you mean a waistlevel finder, I've seen those too, I think KEH had a couple. But there are definitely screens for auction.

thanks for the responses

have been doing more browsing on Ebay for the focusing screen (yes I am looking for a screen not a viewfinder) and have seen a number. There appears to be quite the variation in price. What is a good price for one of these?

after starting this post previously also looked again on KEH's site for a crank/winder handl and didn't see any. Which category within Bronica menu did you previously see one. Also mention was made of these costing $41. Is that what I should expect to pay. Looks like you can get a speed grip for that amount or less.

thanks again

Ive got s few bodies without handles as well. It seems they get lost once you get a speed grip n also ae almost imposable to find anywhere.

The price of a crank is way more than the speed grip, so invest $20 in a grip n save yourself the headache.

Screens are faily common on KEH and on E-bay.

At present KEH does not have the crank handle listed, I must've purchased the last one. I really like the Speed Grip as well, but I imagine there will be numerous occasions where I want to go as compact as possible and the WLF and regular crank will do the trick.

But for the record. If you go to the Bronica ETRS section on KEH, look at the bottom under Miscellaneous Accessories and that's where it will be listed if they get more.

For the prices screens tend to go for on ebay, you could probably buy a bargain grade body on keh. You might even be able to get one with a wind crank.

Regarding screens:
On ebay a lot of people want too much, especially for used ones with "minor scratches". Some people are more reasonable. Shutterblade recently sold one they said had no scratches for a Buy It Now price of $24.95. That's a good price. I got a plain matte in great shape for a $20 bid and another like new for about $30.
If you want a plain matte, Koh's price of $65 for one new in box is still good.

Regarding cranks:
If you keep looking, a winding crank will come up on ebay; I expect it would fetch 20 to 30 bucks. But you never know. It could get bid up to some crazy price. Until recently, Koh's had them new for $31. KEH has consistently been getting more than that used.

I would second c.w.'s suggestion. I know in SQ-A stuff, a body with a crank and a focus screen will often go for less than those two parts separately, You wind up with a spare battery cover -- and body!

I have 2 ETRSi Bronica's that I bought new years ago and have the cranks but I think the grip might be a good idea. With the grip you get a thumb winder and a right hand shutter release. I only had the body and back for my second ETRSi and was able to get a nice 75mm and prism from Shutterblade to have two complete cameras. Shutterblade has a lot of Bronica stuff so you might check them out.
