Kodak Professional posted today on their Twitter and Facebook that they will be making an announcement on Friday this week, apparently they'll be posting hints every day about what it could be.
Most likely i would say it's going to be the official release date for the new Ektachrome, afterall it's supposed to be out before April 2018.

I'm hoping for Plus-X.
But what would be really nice is a major improvement to their distribution system!

Ok, from that picture if it's a new emulsion it's going to be a colour negative portrait style film.
Perhaps a faster Ektar or Portra? Portra 800 is outdated an could use a replacement, i'm sure Kodak could bring out a Portra 1600 with not much more grain than the current 800.

That would be nice but we already got a 1600 speed colour film in stoc, Fuji Natura/X-tra/colour 1600

Currently there is no true 1600 or 3200 speed B/W film, ilford 3200 is really just 1000 asa. Because of this I would love a true 1600 or 3200 b/w speed film.

Either way, there are more slow speed choices than high speed choices, so a new high speed film please!

It's probably a relaunch of 220 Portra, Plus-X, or TMZ3200. 220 Tri-X would be nice though...

Natura 1600 is being discontinued between March-May
Superia 1600 was discontinued a while ago already.

I know that it's not going to be abut Ektachroe but if Kodak decided to introduce an Ektachrome 400 sometime i'd be all over it!!
