(full disclosure: I do not know Andrew and other than a couple of emails here and a phone call once about a year ago, we've never spoken)

I just want to give full appreciation to Andrew, not only for the sheer quantity of work he has been posting here (how does he find the time?), but also the amazing quality of it.

Andrew, great work. Thanks for the inspiration and please keep it up.

I'll second that. He's not only a really productive artist, but he's really good. The only problem is he makes me feel like a slacker.

On the bandwagon. You're part of what makes APUG what it is.

I feel honored to know Andy as a friend, which is also thanks to APUG. I've learned a lot from him, and appreciate and value the time we've had together. Way to go, Andy!

Looking forward to seeing Andrew's work again this year at photostock. Now if the paparazzi show up because of this thread, I'm gonna be pissed!

I've been fortunate enough to become friends with Andrew through APUG, and hopefully one day will get a chance to met him, Thomas and the others in MN. We both have a similar taste in photography, and I really admire his work as well. You are a great guy Andrew, keep up the great work!

Yes, very talented photographer. Wish I could spend time at the Photostock 2009 to meet him and see his demonstration. Maybe next year at Crooked Tree Gallery.

Wow.... Guys. I had no idea this thread was going on until Thomas PM'd me about it, but all I can say is that I am truly humbled, flattered to be amongst such great and talented company. I'm at a loss for words. Wow!! Thank you.

I know some of you very well, and have become great personal friends with quite a few of the MN folks, and all of you through this great forum site. The comradeship and and encouragement from all these great and like minded people is hard to find. I'm glad that I know you all.....

lump in my throat....

Thanks again everyone, I am humbled at the support. If it were not for APUG, I was on the road to giving it all up and selling my gear and buying a digital SLR.....I had not really done much in previous 5 years at that point, and all I could see when I picked up my medium format gear and dusted it off was a huge decline in the film and paper I loved most. After stumbling across APUG and realizing we had a burgeoning film advocacy, I kept all my gear. I can say that I have shot more film than I ever have done in the last two years than I have probably done in the previous 18!!! Somehow now it all feels good again, and I'm also enjoying it more than I ever have done. I've learned so much from this site, and it's people. I'm having amazing fun and am still learning lots. I never thought I would be where I am now with photography. Again, without this site and it's peoples support, I doubt I would still be doing it... Thanks to all of you, and I hope anything I've done in my short time here has helped others along the way.

Thanks again.....

Andy
