This is a very very old Goerz Dagor, probably within the first 2 or three years, but, there's no numbers or anything else, because when they put it in the shutter, probably 100 years ago, the barrel was lost, along with the inscriptions.
I've never seen one with the interesting piece that threads into the front hood. Not sure what that was all about.
You can see images created with this lens here. It is superb in use. Tack sharp and fine contrast in difficult lighting, just as a Dagor should be. It covers the 8X10 with a ton of movements possible.
Some time in it's long existence it has gained a significant battle scar. People without knowledge of optics will look at a scar like this and throw their lenses away. In truth, that damage doesn't cost 2% in lost contrast. It does hinder value though, and my price will reflect that.
The compound shutter is running great, and flange is present. This lens is ready to put to good use. $285.00 plus shipping
