Anchel Formula #50 shelf-life?

Looking at the 2ed Darkroom Cookbook, this "Diafine-type" looks very attractive; something I can try my new chemicals on. What I'd like to know is; how does the shelf-life compare to the real thing?

The shelf lives should be comparable. Be advised though that the common belief is that divided developers do not seem to work very well with todays thinner emulsions.
