Open call to APUG members who are interested in shooting film, making
prints, and participating in a group show.
Theme:
New Bedford, Massachusetts
Prints due by December 1, 2010
Show will be at Judith Klein Art Gallery
Second week of January 2011 to Second week of Februray 2011
Requirements:
. Film photos of New Bedford Mass. Current work (preferably shot for the purpose of this exhibit).
. Ready to hang FRAMED PRINTS, ready to sell (gallery takes 35%).
. Prints can be made traditionally, alternatively, or digitally.
. Color or B&W.
. Minimum 2 prints per photographer, no maximum, but gallery makes final decision on what to hang.
. No entry fee, but committed participation is necessary - we have a whole gallery to fill.
This is a great opportunity to show work, a chance to sell work, and an
excuse to come to an interesting part of New England.
Reply to (me) Elias Roustom before the end of September to commit.
New Bedford's historic downtown is a National Park, with professional park
rangers who can help guide your visit.
I'd be happy to meet out of town photographers to give directions, as I work in the city.
This idea has grown out of a walk some APUG members and I took in June. I'm up for more.
If anybody thinks this announcement should go beyond New England APUG, please pass it along.
