I have an old box of Kodak Professional 6127 film in 2-1/2"x3-1/2"(6.5x9cm) size that expired in Nov. 1970. It also has an added sticker saying 'Product Change (see instuctions)', this is my very first time working with sheet film, and the box was unopened until I opened it today. I decided to try a sheet out in my Fujica GL690 to check for fog and other age issues while I track down some dark slides for the camera the film was purchased for. Once I was done developing it I thought it had a crack, but now that it is drying someone definitely scratched an X near the edge with the notch. Film seems good otherwise with little fog.

A (dark-) inspected (and marked) sample that by error slipped back into the circuit?
Hard to believe, but still my best guess.

Had that happen to me 25+ years ago with Agfa slide film.
Agfa gave me a replacement roll of film, but I never bought another roll from them again.

Luckily, it was just the one piece of film with an X. Now I am wondering why R3 Monobath makes this film a tan color. I thought it was not fixed completely, but that was not it. Diafine and Ilford Rapid Fix left it in the state I am used to, clear grey. The R3 produced a nice, crisp, low grain image inside that tan mess.
