AN glass neg carrier in D5

I recently purchased an Anti Newton Ring glass carrier from Focal Point in Florida (Mike Sparks - nice guy with friendly and prompt service!) My only concern is the huge light leak between the condenser housing and the negative stage when this all glass carrier is installed. Anybody have any experience with this much light scattering around the darkroom?

The lift rods have socket screws you can loosen to adjust. Loosen them, let the head sit down then tighten. You might have to shim up one side or another before tightening so the final sit is correct.
