Well this is the only day I am home for awhile and it was wonderful to see Martin's beautiful cyantypes. Thank you. I was also graced with Lillians superb pt/pd prints. They are incredibly well printed and exceed normal superlatives as to beauty. They are special. Lillian you are no longer allowed to enter under anything other than E!!!

Thank you,

Monty

ps Hopefully Lillian and Heather you both will receive my prints soon as they were all sent at the same time.

I recieved mine this morning. It was like christmas opening it up and it's a beautiful print! Thank you, Monty!
I have finished printing mine tonight (pending them drying overnight) so I'll write out my letters and envelopes and send them very soon. Sorry for being so slow though thankfully I feel like I'm getting out of my funk finally...

Fred,
Actually there was tape, but it was just ordinary scotch tape it seemed to me.

Yes, I did use some scotch tape, but I could not find the packing tape at the time I was putting them together.

Monty - still waiting on your prints. The mailbox has not disgorged anything photographic for days - though there ought to be postcards coming too.
Thank you so much for your praise. I don't feel I can accept the "E" label though. I still have so much to learn. I'm higher than I was a year ago, but there's alot of hill in front of ne!

Just to confirm images are in the post and on the way to you folks!

Hi Carl,

your wonderful print arrived some days ago. Thanks a lot of this interesting view to another way of making negatives and the imperfections of this process. The portrait will get its place right next to a beloved print of Mr. Brewer I received in an earlier exchange.

Thanks,
Anke

Still have not managed to get mine going - sincerest apologies to all in my group - I have just had NO time for photography recently. Will post as soon as I can

Cheers

Phill

I received Carl's print today. Very nice pt/pd print made from a wet plate collodion negative. I am curious as to what your subject is holding in his hand.

I have just received Diane's lovely triptych today. Thank you, I had often considered doing that myself, it works very well indeed.

Last but not least I received Heaters's cyanotype.
Thank you very much for this interesting Cy.
Now I received all the prints from this round. Thanks you all!
I enjoy all your prints. And I hope you like my.

Just received Carl's Wet-plate collodian palladium print. A stunning portrait.

Got Monty's print today. Exquisite! Thank you bunches Monty. I love that it is one of the same series that I recieved from you last time. Makes me pine for a larger format than 4x5!

Heather sent me a zinger today, nude cyanotype. A little gem. Thank you, Heather. I will have to keep it out from behind glass for awhile I am afraid, so I can show it off some more.

Phew. I was worried I scared off my group with my print. Sounds like the post is being really slow! I hope everyone else receives it too.

Things seem to be taking an extra long time to get to Vancouver Island these days. Are Canada Post administrators still on strike? They're claiming mail has not been impeded, but I don't believe 'em.

I have received all the prints from this round except Rich's. I know Rich sent his quite some time ago so this isn't an accusation but I thought I would throw that out so that maybe a trace could be put on it? It's not a big deal of course but I've never seen a lith print in person!!!!!!! I'll check around here as well for as much as I travel the problem could be on my end which is probably the case.

thanks to all for another great round,

best,

Monty

I have just received Mario's salt-print. A very nice still-life, I really like the slight gloss that you have been able to achieve in the print. Thank you.
