Thanks for the link. Whenever I see reviews of films I often cannot see the kind of differences that the reviewer seems able to see or show but certainly not here. The differences are as clear as day. I usually cannot give clear opinions on which is worst/best but again I'd have no hesitation in saying that in slide film Fuji Provia wins by a mile in terms of authenticity ( Velvia looks terrible IMO) and in colour neg Kodak Portra is by far the winner

Not often that things appear so clear cut to me but they do here

It's like arguing whether a violin or cello is better. And it all depends not only your subject matter is, in terms of contrast and specific hues, but on what you plan to do with your shots, especially if you want to print them, and exactly how. So NO !!! One shoe does not fit everyone!!
