Another photo show in Boston, this one, actually two, shows of David Akiba's photos, and again a graceful review by the Globe's Mark Feeney: http://tinyurl.com/quh8zp "Poetry in the focus of Akiba's world". This is also a reminder of the kind of information we stand to lose as the Globe is diminished by its owners.
Does anyone read these reviews? Does anyone go to these shows?
I remember eagerly awaiting photography reviews from A.D. Coleman when he wrote for the Times, and then later for words and pictures and words about pictures from the Boston Review of Photography, or Photo Metro, even mass circulation magazines like Camera Arts, or Camera (my very favorite, still). Are there any such in these digital times?

Good article Bill. Yes, we need to keep the print media around...especially if we lose power from time to time which I'm afraid will happen more and more as time goes by!
