Agitation Patterns

Hi

I have seen different agitation patterns named "The Kodak Agitation", "The Agfa Agitation" and others.

Can someone here tell me what the different patterns are? I want to learn how these are done and the difference between them.

First, holding my sign high, I walk some distance.
I then stop and chant the appropiate slogan.
then I march some more.
This continues till about 5:00 pm.

Agiation:
Agfa: Continuous for first minute, then tilt every minute.
Ilford: 4 inversions within 10 secs every minute
Kodak (not sure): 2 inversions every 30 secs.

Well, Morten YOU should use a Rondinax anyway, which says:
turn the knob half a turn every seconc second, now that should keep you busy!

Each manufacturer has their own agitation pattern, the thing to keep in mind is to keep whatever agitation routine you choose consistent. They all pretty much work "close enough for gov work" so as long as you do the same routine each time, you will cut out a variable.

the Rondinax is "wheeled" every 3 seconds!

Hey! I do work for the gov and we have computerized. we work with Imagesetters now.
