Thinking of trying out Adostab as it's wetting agent and stabilizer in one.
I assume this will have little to no effect on RC prints but will increase density of fiber prints.
Does it make any sense to use this on film as well?

How toxic is this stuff? Can I handle the film, paper without gloves?

Sistan contains a scavenger for silver-ions and thus is effective on both sort of papers.

hi ericdan

make sure you use it EXACTLY as the instructions say or it could cause problems
(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Neither one increases the print density. Sistan is not a toner replacement but protects silver against environmental attack

The active substance is Sodium- or Potassium-Thiocyanate, a lesser toxic substance, as long not added with acids.

As long as you handle Sistan correctly it should even be less harmful than developer.

Something like Sistan is not necessary IF your FB prints and film are properly washed. It may be of some value with RC prints.
