Hi all!

Does anyone have the manual (or preferably the service manual) for the Agfa Reflecta Diamator A dia projector? I just bought one yesterday at a salvation army thrift shop for about $16. The remote controller doesn't work (well, not shifting to the next/previous frame anyways, the focus adjustment on the remote works) - and i'm trying to fix it myself. Sadly, there was a spring inside the projector that don't seem to fit in anywhere...

Does anyone know of these types of projectors, and does anyone want to open theirs to take some pictures from a working projector? (It's just a single screw!)

Thanks a lot in advance..

Never seen one. That hasn't stopped me before though.
If you have a volt/ohm meter you can check the remote switch and if the switch works, it could be the solenoid for the advance.
The solenoid also has to have a spring for return. Is the loose spring a coil of pretty good size?

manual

Hi there, I have a service manual of theses slide projectors. How does the spring look?

I have an AGFA Diamator projector myself - great bit of kit - and somewhere I have the owners manual for it. If you still need it, PM me and I'll have a scrabble around for it. Regards, Blights.

How to open ? Slider stuck / locked ?

Sorry for piggybacking on this thread, but same symptom.

My wife was looking through some stuff from her parents, and she found a Reflecta Diamator AF 1002. I seems to be broken ?
Light comes on but the slider seems to be stuck or locked inside the projector. There seems to be no slide inside.
The lens comes nicely of.
The screw at the lamp house is out, but I cannot get the housing off because of the slider being stuck... Any advise from here

The sprint is probably the one that's an inch long and goes on the slide loading bar on the right (the thing that keeps going in and out). Open the housing on the right (three screws underneath). There should be a floating plastic piece that sort of keeps the slides in place when it's going in and out. The spring attaches to that. I should really take a photo of this shouldn't I.
