It would be helpful if we know where you heard this. From my understaning, a small concern in Germany will be making the AGFA paper again. But the film will not be the same as the old APX. You can still find quite a bit of the old APX around in 35mm. I really hope they do make a comeback, but it may be difficult. At least we have Rodinal in production.I heard a news that Agfa paper products are coming back and the film will also be made available soon if the paper goes well.
very excited!!
And here are some sample images from the reborn Agfa/Adox MCC: http://www.moersch-photochemie.de/bilder.php?galerie=adox%20mcc The text is more elaborate and detailed than what Mirko wrote. Anyone who has enough time to translate? And who said they never come back? The details have been posted in full by Mirk of Fotoimpex (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

@ skahde; the link goes to the ADOX MCC 111. some friends from the vfdkv forum have tested this paper and are very pleased about it. it is near to the old agfa only the white is brighter, and the developmenttime varies about 3-5%.
for translating the whole text there is not enough time today(i have to finish my work today)
