Agfa Gevaert a blog post

New blog on an obscure kind of film: Agfa Gevaert 561:

This is very old film, from a period when Agfa-Gevaert still used the Gevaert brand for certain industrial films, befor it was ommitted for the only use of Agfa.
In this case it is b&w cine print film.

most of the makers had a print film for B&W movies, they tend to be interchangeable - blue sensitive, clear base - KS1870 perforations (same as till film).

I am amused that they even used a drawing of a Theatre projector to indicate that it was for making projection prints.

I have quite a few 16mm Movies that were printing in the US on Gevaert stock.

The cans with cine camera films likely had as icon an apparatus with the two reels on top.

and they might have had one with 4 reels for the lab films. who knows what for the sound recording films...
