After recover silver from blix with steel wool

What do you do with the steel wool?

Should I just dispose the steel wool in the trash and then dispose the blix in the toilet?

You need to keep the steel wool residue, when you have enough you send it for smelting to recover the silver.

The idea is to save the environment so thowing it in the trash is almost as bad as putting silver laden blix down the drain. De silvered blix can be diluted and put down the drain.

It's not as bad. If you put silver down the drain, it kills bacteria in the sewage plant, making waste break down more difficult.

It shouldn't end up in the water ways in the bin, but I'd still save it anyway.
