AE camera with Leica M mount: best alternative for 2024?

If you have used the M3 and M2 for 40 years, I'm surprised that you want some automation. You can't automate vision.

Late, but I just saw this post and wanted to comment. I purchased a Bessa R3a several years ago with a Voitlander 40 f 1.4 lens. I have four different Leica Ms, but got curious about AE in a rangefinder. True, they haven't been made in 15 years or more. The one I bought had a full service before my purchasing the camera. Do I use it? Yes. Like it? Yes. Makes a nice change, and I can use my M lenses. Repairs I'm not worried about.
