I recently won an ebay acution

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140411446772&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

The wall mounted devere 504 was included among other items.

Since my darkroom is going to be a converted bedroom that has wallboard, I am wondering how to mt this.

I have 2 ideas, 1 is to install a 4x8 ft sheet of plywood (3/4") on the wall then mount the enlarger to it, I think this may be a little over kill for this enlarger. The other idea is to mount 2 2"x4"x4' studs horizontally across the wall anchoring them to the wall studs. Then mounting the enlarger to this.

Anyone mounted a 504 to wall? If so how did you do it?

Also in this lot was a Kostiner 16x20 Print washer, it is missing 2 dividers, I am assuming these are Acrylic. Where does one buy Acrylic sheets? May be a silly question, but I have know idea.

Thanks

I'd mount to studs. As far as acrylic sheets, just search online plastics suppliers, many cater to hobbyists...

Look in the yellow pages for a local sign maker - They often have odd bits of plastic sheet they may be willing to sell (it doesn't have to be acrylic).

I'm not sure about the Kostiner, but my Nova washer uses the textured diffuser material that goes over banks of fluorescent lights. The stuff is available at most hardware stores.

This might be a perfect match... Thanks for the tip
Home Depot has all kinds of sheet plastic - diffusion type, stuff with open grid pattersn, you name it. It's worth your while to go poking around in the ligthing and window hardware sections for this stuff.

Frank, thanks, I have a Home Depot on the way home from work, I think I will stop by.
