On a number of forums I've noticed that many have stated that these are the same paper. My own experience(today) I've found that they are anything but the same. With a #3 filter the varycon is markedly more contrasty and I am still haing trouble getting the contrast out of the adox vario g without having to go to a #4 or higher filter.
Anybody else noticed this difference?

Not the same in my book. I like the ADOX but hated the Varycon...printed the dame neg on both and worlds apart.

There's another thread or two on this I believe
