Mirko stated in the past that he is opposed to the Kickstarter idea. However this issue here ist not even such project. But maybe the Kickstarter infrastructure could be used for a pre-paid production. Then still it may be questioned whether Kickstarter yield any benefit over Adox dealing themselves with pre-payment.
Also it is not clear whether Mirco is open to a pre-paid production at all. So far it seems to me he is striving for productions running continously so to say.
modern times need new business models.
Mirko has made statements on the economics of the photochemical industry as such and his own manufacture for quite some years. So we can assume that he considered pre-paid production. Thus my remark above.
And pre-paid production is no new concept. It is at least 400 years old.
Isn't the next stage, haliderollei , to put your idea and ways round possible problems directly to Mirko I can't see how a debate with fellow members is going to do this. Eventually this thread will simply die as people just lose interest.

Thanks for the reply. It at least starts the "ball rolling" as they say.Hi, I’ll be in the touch hopefully today
Haliderollei, were you able to get in touch with Mirko and if so what was his response. I ask because I note that you are having problems with Ilford films so was hoping that you may have some better news for Mirko at ADOXThanks for the reply. It at least starts the "ball rolling" as they say.
Let us know how you get on

Hi, I’ll be in the touch hopefully today [with Adox about accepting a pre-paid Polywarmtone production by inscription].
Maybe he has lost interest. He hasn't visited for 8 days now, looking at his profile . If he has not lost interest then I am still interested in his correspondence with Mirko and what it's outcome wasYou started this thread with a claim/proposal but leave us uninformed.
Hi, I don't owe anyone anything, as you may know, the economy is getting hyperinflated; I different priorities at the moment, such as trying to keep my head afloat during these strange times. OK and thanks. Can we assume that to-date you have been unable to correspond with Mirko but when your other priorities you mention allow you to do so you will let us know the outcome of that correspondence ?Hi, I don't owe anyone anything, as you may know, the economy is getting hyperinflated; I different priorities at the moment, such as trying to keep my head afloat during these strange times. Well, it was their first project of a self produced paper and they put quite an effort into it. So in the past they saw a market for it.I agree with Adox. There's not sufficient demand to support another warmtone fiber paper.
Are there any news about the availability of MCC? The latest information on adox.de is:
"Update 15.9.2021: We sucessfully coated 700m2 in Switzerland. This “first flush” will be released in a special box soon."
A fresh update of when we can expect the paper to be available again would be nice. I'm on my last box now.
The two (or three) grain types (unsensitized, green-sensitized...) in a VC paper do not need to reside in distinct layers.I see Adox sells a coat your own emulsion. How does VC work with a single emulsion??

I've mailed them about this; never seen the paper pop up at fotoimpex.
