Adox films out of stock in Fotoimpex and other stores (June 2019)?

Hi Adox,

I was about to order some CMS 20 and some CHS 100 - but I see they are out of stock everywhere?

If it is selling good - then great, demand is big , but hoping to see it back soon.

CHS100 is the film that they are working on making themselves -so far only sheet film is made in house, bought in stock is now sold out. Long thread in the ADOX partners forum

yes, demand is fortunately very good. For a very small manufacturer like us that is often quite challenging. Especially if you are building up a new factory.
We are very hard working on bringing these "out of stock" products" "back in stock".

Something not related but of interest/concern is the number of out of stock C41/RA4 kits that have not been available for some time on your site.

Hi Martin,
the insolvency of Tetenal caused a lot of interruptions in the supply chains, on several levels and in different supply chains. Fortunately Tetenal is back as 'New Tetenal' - with 100% focus on photo chemistry - and they are producing again. But their new production is increasing slowly - step-by-step - and is not yet on the former (before insolvency) level. But their efforts are focussed on getting to former volumes during the next months.

I am patient. I still have 5-6 expired but good Efke films, and most of the 90m roll of Polypan F for not so important stuff.

The reason for depleted inventories is quite good. Thank you for the transparency on this.

Look out for the second depletion when all of us in the U.K. buy all Adox stocks just before Boris( not a Russian by the way) and Michel part company with no deal. I believe we produce enough of our own cement not to require Europe's when we then fill in the Channel Tunnel

In PhotoKlassik II.2020 was written that (re)introduction of CHS 100 was forseen middle 2020. That's in a couple of days.

we are working very hard on the introduction of our CHS 100 II in 135 format this summer. Please have a little patience. The corona crisis has had (and still has) a very significant negative impact on all our projects, slowing the progress down.

I completely understand, I already expected this. You only mention 135 by the way, the article was also about 120. Any updates about that?

The priority for now has to be on 135 format. When that is done, we will look on 120 and trying to overcome the hurdles of this format.
