Adox/Efke 'Aura' IR film in the UK?

I'd like to play a little with IT film and it seems like the halation of Kodak HIE is as much part of the effect as the tonality. Now, obviously HIE isn't available any more, so it looks like the IR820 'Aura' is the next best thing, however it seems to be tricky to get hold of!

Unfortunately my German is not up to navigating the foto-impex online shop (Although I will briefly be in Berlin toward the end of July!).

Any recommended retailers?

Oh btw, it is listed as 'available in 35mm only' but on the order part of the website you can get it in 120 as well. I've got my non-aura version from silverprint, but when I visited recently the non-aura 120 format was out of stock.

You might try ringing Silverprint it is just possible they have the film in stock, but not listed on their website.

When I spoke to Silverprint last month they said that if they could get it they would stock it, so it might be worth giving them a ring.

Well, I've just got a pack of 10 from Macodirect - pretty prompt! Now all I need to do is go out and shoot it.

I'm planning on using my Ilford SFX filter (equivalent to a Hoya R72 IIRC) - having just completely overexposed my one-and-only roll of HIE, I'm a little apprehensive!

Just add 5 stops for the SFX filter and bracket.

And make sure that there's some infra-red around as well. In Yorkshire at the moment I think the rain has washed all the infra-red away....
