Yes as Koraks has said we none of us know what the answer to be but given it was a statement by ADOX with reference to Ilford's use of Tetenal chemistry I'd be surprised if Ilford had no relationship with Tetenal. So I think it likely that Tetenal's problem did affect Ilford in terms of its needing to do something.
