Dear color positive film enthusiasts,

our new ADOX C-TEC E-6 3-bath kit is now ready for preorder at our global distributor FOTOIMPEX:

This kit is the perfect solution and replacement for all photographers who have used the former Tetenal E-6 3-bath kit before.

Let's shoot color positive film 😎!

I see the advertisement on the inside front cover of Silvergrain Classics. I have used the Tetenal chemistry in the past with great results. I have some Fuji chemistry right now but I will be looking at the Adox kit. From a storage and disposal point of view the 3 bath chemistry (well really 4 with a very nice liquid stabilizer) makes very good sense!

Glad you are producing E-6 chemistry, I use a lot of it. Any plans for an overseas export to another distributor? It requires ground shipping from Fotoimpex which won't be available to many.

One presumes their usual US dealers will receive it in due time. This took a few weeks for the C-41 kits.

Congratulations!

Thanks!

You're almost getting me to the point of going back to shooting E6. Almost!

Do it, enjoy it. You will not regret it!
Color positves are unique, especially on the lighttable under an excellent loupe, and in projection!
No other photographic medium can offer such a brillance, so much fine detail, and such a three-dimensional look.

I haven't shot many transparencies, but more of them in 127 and 620 than 126 and 35 mm. I've got a box of E100 in 4x5, sometime when I catch up my developing backlog a bit I plan to shoot and process those.

Oh, this would be great! I started developing E6 as my first foray into color dev at home and wanted to avoid 6-bath kits. But the 3-bath kit I have doesn't have a stabilizer, so I'd love to use this going forward!

What did the original Tetenal kit do the made it so popular?

They are; I was an avid "slide shooter" about 20 years ago, as was my father in the decades prior. We have many boxes filled with magic!

I second it! I got super hooked on them lately and baring the double cost of slides just because I like them so much!

Hooray! Will you be doing the 2.5L kit too?

My assumption:
Probably ADOX will at first wait and see how the market reaction to this 1L kit will be. And when then the demand will be (very) strong, they may consider it.
Those who are interested in a 2.5L kit should definitely buy now the 1L kit to show demand.

If someone could post here when it's available for purchase in the US, I would appreciate it.

I can see that it is now available on the Freestyle site for preorder at $54.

Film Photography Projects E-6 kit went from $36 less than a year ago to $52 today, so now there is very little price difference between the two kits.

I'm going to give Adox's kit a pre-order.
