Hi All,

Recently I was trying Adox Atomal 49 developer and I got totally confused when reading instructions.

It mentions 2x1 litre on the front cover but the instructions seem to be explaining that Part A and Part B are to be mixed into a single 1 litre solution. There is also mention of using 1l stock solution (with a capacity of up to 10 films).

So - how one should mix and use Atomal 49?

Thanks!

Each pack contains part A and part B, that make 1l of working solution. So, two packs should get you 2l of working solution.

Thanks Baachitraka!

To clarify - I should mix part A to get "1 litre of solution A" and then mix part B to get "1 litre of solution B". Right? When should I mix those together? Just before developing? The mixed part should be discarded afterwise?

The instructions are not clear to me and mention "1+1" as being "one-shot". But I assume they in fact mean "0.5 part A + 0.5 part B + 1 part water"?

Each pack contains part A and part B, you mix the both to make 1l of working solution.

As it says on the package: start with 0,9l water, add 1 (one!) bag part A, stirr, add 1 (one!) bag part B, stirr ad fill up to 1l. This is the stock solution, which can be reused. Alternatively the stock solution can be further diluted (just before use) and used as one shot developer.
The package should contain 2 parts A and two parts B resulting in 2x1l stock solution.

A few weeks ago Adox had to change the packaging due to EU laws and Atomal 49 now comes with three bags and new instructions for mixing. According to Adox the Stock solution has the same active ingredients.

Just open one pack, you will find one partA and one partB. Mix according to instructions. You will end up with 1l of working solution.
