Hi all,

I was wandering what happens if I add very cold or hot water in developer while developing?

Locally , in some regions i like to see an effect. What would be the result if i lett the developing paper still in the tray and do the adding of hot and or cold water?

If anyone has experience with it ?

Thx
Lieven

I haven’t done it with paper but I did it with film once. It gives it a funky texture. This was a hot water rinse after development, before fix. I think it causes the emulsion to swell then contract causing tiny cracks.
