I was wondering if anyone out there had ever tried to mount the Hasselblad 110 f2 onto an SL66 using a blank SL66 lensboard?

Spectacular... and expensive ( used to be, anyhow ) lens.

I don't think you can - at infinity the Rollei lens is too far from the film plane for the Hassy lens to focus on infinity.

(a film to flange problem)

The film registration plane of these camera are quite a bit different, I imagine, you could do this if you really wanted to, but I can't imagine how it would be easy?

I"m very interested in using that fast piece of glass on my SL66, but I guess it's impossible in any of it's various incarnations (Hasselbad,Rollei6000 series, Exacta66 series). Oh well.

For sure it will be cheaper to buy a "Swedish Cube" and couple that beauty to it.
Just a thought!

Cheers

Check with SK Grimes, if they don't know probably no one will.

There are potential solutions but all involve hacking the lens severely. E.g., it is possible to adapt cheap Pentacon Six mount glass to fit the Rolleiflex. I think there were even limited runs of the Pentacon Six CZ Jena 180/2.8 and other fast lenses made in SL66 mount.

Its a pity there isn't more fast glass for the SL66 - the only reason for the slowish glass IMO is the fact that Hasselblad lens designs were simply adapted to the focal plane SL66.
