Is an adapter needed to use this lense, voigtlander color skopar classic 35mm f/2.5 with the voigtlander bessa r3m?

If so, what kind of adapter?

I'm thinking of buying these and would like to know if I need an adapter also.

Thanks in advance.

If that's the screw-mount version of the Skopar, then you'll need an LTM => M adapter.

Because the Bessas rely on a switch to change framelines, it doesn't matter which adapter you buy. However, you might want to get the 35mm adapter so that if you ever buy a Leica M or Zeiss Ikon, it will bring up the correct framelines when mounted to those cameras.

These adapters are inexpensive. I think that I paid less than $20 for a 35mm adapter. I've had no problems with it -- it has no moving parts.
