I was just developing some film and after development but before fixing the lid came off when I was pouring out the developer. I was so annoyed I just stood there for about a minute. Then I thought I'd look at the film and I was suprised to see what looked like a normal negative. I thought any light exposure would almost immediately fog them completely. So I put them through the fixer, cursing that I hadnt done this immediately, and wash. I just hung them up to dry, and I cant quite believe it but they seem ok. Does anyone understand this?

See BTZS Tubes video.
First the developer is mostly exhausted.
Second, the time the re-exposed film was in the developer was short, A few seconds compared the the 400 some odd seconds in the developer.
Lastly don't make a habit of it .
