As a result of not being able to logon to APUG most of yesterday, I ended up trawling other photog sites and came across the above site which I must have seen in an APUG thread and put it into my Internet Explorer favourites. Bookmarked it as they used to say on Netscape which I much preferred but that's water under the bridge.
The site with presumably kind permission of his next of kin is archived and appears via Wayback Machine. Anyway I started to look at a number of articles, including "Finding your own personal film speed". The problem was that on this article only page 1 of 3 was available. Most articles had this problem but some were OK.
I got a message on screen saying that it had been unable to access the next page and inviting me to contact the archivist which I did explaining the problem.
1. Has anyone recently tried to archive the site and been successful? If so what did you do?
2. Has anyone else contacted the archivist and if so what is their response like?
3. Best of all does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might do to access the site or is it a case of waiting for the archiving to respond?
thanks
