A local thrift shop has 3 framed Ansel Adams prints.
They are 5x7 inch prints in oversized 11x14 frames.
There is a black mat with extra cutout for a silvery plaque with the title "Ansel Adams"

I had never seen small AA prints before so I wondered if they were 5x7 contact prints or similar. The frame and matting were very well done, not like the cheap posters that abound.

Upon closer inspection (with a loupe) I could see that the print was not a photographic print but it was made with patterned dots like from a newspaper or book.

If they are cheap, buy them anyway, just to have them in a collection. You can always gift them.

Even 'cheap lithography' will probably outlast an inkjet print
