Hi all,

After lurking around and being quite overwhelmed by the vast experiences and skills of many of you, it was the postcard exchange that convinced me to sign on. Point and shoot 35mm film cameras in the 80-90's, then point and shoot digital cameras, mostly documenting moments in my life. I decided to take things more seriously with the first kid on the way, picked up a DSLR. and then started the real learning. After collecting a few Canon FD lenses for a mirrorless, I picked up a cheap AE-1, and after a few rolls, decided it was not worth the hassle. Years later, just a few months ago, I picked up a Bronica SQ-Ai kit, watched a lot of videos, read a lot, and here I am on the forum I once knew as apug, developing my own film, and inkjet printing to lots of "oohs and aahs" from friends and family.

My analog to digital workflow is still a work in progress, heck, my analog process would probably be considered a messy disaster, but I haven't had this much fun with photography, ever.

So while waiting for the next round for PCX, my August photography goal will be shooting as much as I can and hopefully end up with a few images that I would be happy to post along to others.

Cheers!

P

Welcome to APUG Photrio!!

Welcome
The Postcard Exchange is a great reason to join. I just checked - I think I'm on my 34th round!
Hope you enjoy your time here.

And an equally enthusiastic Yo from Brooklyn! If you're gonna Yo, it might as well be rambunctious.
Not from NJ, technically, but lived there for a long time during my formative years, 1969-1989, and still have lots of family there.

Welcome to Photrio, and to film!

I've been shooting for 25+ years (a mere moment compared to some of the members here) and everything I do is still a work in progress. As long as you're having fun everything else is secondary.

Thanks all for the kind words. Still in lurking mode and slowly building the courage to start posting some photos. Won't be long.
