I have a bottle of this (I normally use Ilford) and I would like to mix small bottles rather than the one gallon it says to mix on the box.

I can't seem to find the pdf or paper instructions for this.

In my notes I show 1+3 for film strength and 1+4 for for paper.

Does this sound correct?

Wirelessly posted (BBBold: BlackBerry9000/4.6.0.167 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

Kodafix is 1:3 and 1:7 for film and paper, respectively. I would presume the Rapid Fixer would be in line.

Thanks Matt.

The Kodak pdf does not have anything for Kodak Rapid Fix.

Ah, but David, it requires a devious mind .

Try these:

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/support/techPubs/e103cf/e103cf.pdf

and

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/support/techPubs/e103cp/e103cp.pdf

and then the pdf for the particular film in question (e.g. T-Max 400):

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/support/techPubs/f4043/f4043.pdf

The first two links are found in the "Reference" section at the bottom of the sub-links found under the "Chemicals" heading listed under the Technical Publications link I posted earlier.

Matt

I got three 2.5 gal boxes of the concentrate from a school lab that was closing. I use it at 1+4 for film and paper. I don't use the hardener. The concentrate was very old, and has sulphur precipitate in the bottom. I use it anyway and put up with the farty smell. I filter it through coffee filters and have no trouble with it. It clears film in less than one minute.
