They may have sought out the sign because of the inventory.
Although I know of at least one establishment - "The Economy Shoe Store" in Halifax Canada, who named their bar/restaurant the way they did because they found an old neon sign that they liked and could afford :smile:.
There must be a lot of those old Kodak and Fuji and Agfa signs sitting in storage around the world.
