A picture a day

That color is just barely there, but it works well. The bird up there has the best nesting spot in town.

Another cold, snowy image to add to the bunch

Clearly I should have had my wife take a photo yesterday of me on our deck cleaning the windows. It was warm enough that I didn't need a jacket.
It's always nice to start the year with a clear view .

Rub it in. The sky is clearing now but it is still -11C and forecasting for colder weather to come. But at least it is sunny now

A bit of warming sun on a winter day is welcome

As for rubbing it in....
this was taken late afternoon yesterday. Today it is about 6C and partly sunny. Spring is just around the corner:

We're warming up here for a bit too and it's raining starting today. Taken on yesterday's walk:

Unintentionally similar to Korak's last image.

A lovely, lovely image, Matt. The modest dynamism in the curve of the path is the cherry on top.

Thanks. It's funny, because I paid so much attention to getting the buds to stand out against the background and be reasonably sharp - cel phone cameras and I are at best in detente - that I barely noticed that part of the background!

The next day, an animal walked here... you can see everyone's habits when it snows.

Thanks jlin!

One of my father and his friends from the 80s, just for fun.

This ice should look good in the glow of the meniscus lens I was carrying on FP4+.

Add more snow and ice, one from half frame one from medium format using 35mm film.

Thanks Koraks!

BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY 45°F, NO WIND. 150 LBS SALT FOR THE SOFTENER, 12 PACK OF NEAR BEER, FRONT BASKET IS FULL OF ORANGES AND APPLES. HOW I DO CO2 REDUCTION

Awesome bike and trailer. I've thought for a few years about getting something similar. Although I'd worry about it getting stolen while I was in the supermarket.
