Some nice light and water in the woods yesterday. I was out with my 1930s folding 6x9 and some Lomochrome Purple, and tried to take this shot with it as well, at minimum focus distance. I'm sure I'll end up with a radically different look there.

I like the texture of this. May try to do some macros of it.

This is a flare stack I see on my dog walking route... in a 5x iPhone digital zoom equivalent to about 135mm. I might try to shoot it with 135mm or 300mm lens. Sometimes I see herons fishing in the runoff ditch below, usually in rainfall. Happy Thanksgiving.

I love that sycamore tree.

For a few weeks, two homeless ladies had been using that space to sleep (where the planters are). I'd see them packing everything up around 8am with care and dignity, and leaving. I guess it wasn't good enough for this office building. I had read about hostile architecture but hadn't seen it implemented. Hoping they have found a warm place to stay.

3 weeks until Winter.

We are below freezing for our daily high for the first time this season. The dog is less distressed in the cold than in the mildly warm summer weather.
