A picture a day

Do you choose the colour of the dog's jacket based on how the foliage and other characteristics of the scene are likely to render photographically?
If so, good choice today!

Haha no, he only has one jacket and hates wearing it. He had a sweater but ripped it up out of spite.

Another good one! And I like that one green leaf to give the eye a reference point.

Pretty! Are those jacaranda trees?

Beautiful stuff people, all of it! Lovely; keep it coming.

This is from the ongoing 'project' of having a camera sitting on my desk so I can snap a pic if I see pretty colors out the window.

Those leaves remind me of the Judas tree I imported from Spain and tried to grow here, didn't have much success, it needs a slightly warmer climate. But it's related to the Redbud which does grow in the US.

I found this poor ladybug trying to hide from the chilly autumn wind.

This congregation of seagulls on Thursday made me wish I brought my longer lens.

Almost all the leaves gone now.

Oh yeah! Thanks! That's right up my alley!

Windy and wet with dreams of impending doom.

@loccdor you're on a roll! Keep doing what you're doing! Have you tried rotating that last one 90 deg. CCW? Maybe that makes it a bit too classic...but nothing wrong with a good classic!

@koraks Thanks, there's never any shortage of leaves. Yes, let's try that.
