A/NZ PX Round #15 - Comments and Feedback

Hello everybody and welcome to the 15th round of the A/NZ Print exchange. This will be the thread to make your comments on progress, critiques and general chit chat.

The list of participants:

As per the signup thread, you have until the 1st of April to get your prints to me. My address details should have been sent to you in a separate PM.

As there are 7 participants, you have to print 6 images. Just remember, your prints are to be no more than 8 inches on the shortest side and 10 inches on the longest side. And as per the new clarification of the rules, we will no longer accept prints that have been made via digital means. This excludes: inkjet prints, mini lab prints, laser prints, etc - basically, if a computer sent it to the device that printed it, its out. Sorry, but the tribe has spoken.. If you need clarification, either send me a message OR post to this thread.

I have also attached the Information template that has been used for previous rounds.

Quite seriously, I'm happy for Andy to take my spot this round as I have a few health issues and would jump back in for the nest round.

Hey guys,

How are we all going? I admit I am supposed to be printing this weekend, but have gotten a bit side tracked with other stuff that life has thrown at me. I might get onto it on Monday (public holiday in SA), but have promised to cook up a storm on my new smoker......

I have a shortlist of what I want to print, have to locate 3 negs and choose between them. Ultra busy this week so probably printing next week. I'm sure I will make the deadline but will be towards the end of it.

Mike i wish I could get down to a shortlist. I can’t nail what process I want to run with let alone what picture. Urgh.

I selected a shortlist, did a test print of the first one and went with that. So my prints are drying as we speak. I plan to mail them early next week, so the Hoff should have them by the end of next week.

I did some test prints, pretty sure I will make my prints this Monday night, fingers crossed. Are we making 5 or 6 prints? There are 7 names on the list.

Guys, I am getting my prints in the post this weekend. If the mail gods at USPS and OzPost are favoring me you should have them after Easter - April 6th or later. Sorry to be the lagard...

Thankfully I managed to get into the darkroom today and I have 6 prints ready to go!

Made my prints tonight, FB, left to dry. Might be some spotting required, will check tomorrow. Will be in the post on Wednesday or Thursday at latest.
