walbergb gets in due to this, past involvement and his Commonwealth connections... his Queen is our Queen! (I think)

I dunno, if it wasn't for an act of Canadian parliament in 1943, Princess Margriet might have technically been Canadian, then she'd have a claim to rule as Queen of Canada some day.
Isn't that how royalty works?

Nope. That Act was just to make it simple for Princess Margriet to rise to the throne in the Netherlands.

Actually, walbergb gets Queen Elizabeth as his queen twice.

Because of the way each province came into confederation, she is both Queen of Canada, and Queen of Manitoba.

Oh, in case you are wondering, I've been following this thread for the entertainment in it.

And to pick up tips for the Travelling camera thread(s)

That makes us the same - Queen Libby twice. Woohoo!

Each State came first then the Commonwealth, so then only the Teritories and Dependancies [might be wrong with the latter] would have the one QEII.

not sure if Toadman was serious... but I go by the theory that since you pay for postage both ways, it doesn't really matter who joins in if you're happy wth that aspect. walbergb gets in due to this, past involvement and his Commonwealth connections... his Queen is our Queen! (I think)

I'll send the list to PWC and get them to audit it!

Toady, if you want in, reply back and we'll take it to the tribal council

My answers maybe weren't to serious but my intentions are. So, if you'll have me, I'll like to participate.

Since mentioning royalty seems to be a benefit to get into this exchange, I live next to Princess Margriet (well, sort of). She lives at palace "Het Loo" and I live on the other side of the domains of this palace. It's a big and beautiful domain with lots of forests and fielts to walk and photograph in. Her husband, Pieter van Vollenhoven is a very good wildlife photographer.

I grew up under Queen Juliana and lived 33 years under Queen Beatrix. But we have a king now since 2013 for the first time in 123 years: King Willem-Alexander. The first king after 3 queens in The Netherlands. But the king has 3 daughters, so the next reign will be a queen again.

We've got to have Bert in as any one who has had such a number of female monarchs most certainly qualifies.

So I'll take it that's it?
I'm presuming that this is 12 copies of the same photo? How about 4 copies of 3 photos or something?
I've just developed my 9x12 APX100s from the Grampians trip, they're only hanging up to dry now, but dammit they all look good, I don't think I could decide on a single one to pick out.
Who wants postcard-sized contact-prints?

Not quite - if there are 12 in the group, you have to do 11 prints.

As for what you are printing, the idea is that they are all the same print.....that being said, I'd be curious to hear what others think about different prints being sent by the same person. THe only thing is it becomes a bit of a lucky dip to who gets what print.

Hi all,

Sorry for the lack of notification during the week. I've had a decidedly crappy week (my wife got Fired on Monday......), so this kinda fell off my radar.

Hopefully by the time that you read this, you would have gotten a notification advising of the address details to send your prints to.

The comments thread has been started (there was a url link here which no longer exists). Lets continue the discussion over there.

Andy, can you please close this one!

Cheers

Sorry to hear the bad news. Must be something in the air, last Tuesday my wife's dept. at a Uni here in Victoria is redundant, she has a redeployment but is not happy about it.

As for more than one print, this has been done in the past 2x 11 or as many times 11 is fine. This way we all get the same print/s to comment on.

It was horrible news and totally 100% out of the blue. The previous week her boss was lauding her efforts and talking promotions. The following Monday the bosses wife fired her as soon as she walked through the door. Never trust a family business, where jobs are just 'given' to the family is all I'm going to say.

OK, time to move on!
