hahaha sorry, i didnt mean that to come across as mean as it did on the page, I wasn't casting aspersions on anyone in particular, it was more a joke.. Even though this is my first print exchange on apug its not my first swap type deal over the net and there is always a fair dropout rate. 10 to 20% is not heaps unusual, but 40 odd percent completion by finish date is somewhat lower than i thought it would be. But printing is a slow procedure, i have 2 little kids etc and i knew if i didnt get on top of it id be amongst the date missers myself, especially this time of year.
Im not feeling like the need to rush people to finish, id just like to see some gelatin prints that arent my own, they are a little thin on the ground here.
Regarding overseas shipping, I order tobacco from over seas and sometimes it takes months to arrive...:munch:

Hi Bob not my uncle,
Lie #2 isn't applicable since the postal services aren't run by the government for some decades now (at least overhere).

Typo, I meant lie #3, although in Canada the govermnent does run Canada Post.

Greetings all,

I received Toady's prints today. I have also been in contact with Munz and Jamespierce.

Munz has advised that he was going to mail out today.

Unfortunately, James has advised that he has had to withdraw from this round. He has promised to deliver for the next round....so mark this post

The only one I have heard from is Dr C.

Cheers

Yeah, I've sort of misesd the last few weeks, what with xmas and my sis and a best friend (independently) visiting from London and all that. I'm just firing up the darkroom now, so should be able to hand-deliver them in the next day or two (once they're dry).

Dr excuses, excuses.

I should have used the fact that I had used my dark room as a store for all the house goods put into storage while the house readied for selling, and then the fact that I was overseas for 2 weeks weeks, and then that I have to start the formal packing process for the big move, and then .... As reasons to be late.

I am gunna miss my darkroom. I have been in it every night since I cleared a pathway into it and cleared out what I could to make it usable. I've had 12 100' rolls of 16mm B&W reversal film to process. Now down to my last 2 rolls of unprocessed film. After these films I will start the decommisiong .

I do not know when I will have another darkroom. boo hoo.

Yeah, I know, excuses.
Seems all I've been doing in the last few weeks is reinstalling operating systems, actually. trying to get my arduino working under Linux-64 (didn't compile), then win64 under virtualbox (crashed it), then win32 under virtualbox (ditto), then lin32 under virtualbox (compile error), then trying Xen with virsh, then virt-manager, then KVM, Qemu, aQemu.
Eventually I gave up and just installed win64 on a bare-metal old harddisk, but then Elder Scrolls Oblivion 5th-anniversary was on sale at EB for $18...

Anyway, done and done. They're hanging to dry now, so unless they're all crap I should get 11 good ones in total.

I presume you only need to send 10 now that one person has withdrawn.

Where are you relocating to Andy? I wonder if you can find a darkroom to use when you move to the US via the Ilford program.
Now for the excuse. All my dry chems and paper will be a container until I find a house to call my own so can't follow that option.

Greetings all,

All the Australian Packages have now been given to the post man. Those of you who had express post should see them soon. The rest of you should see their packages within the week, Postman Pat pending!

The packages for our 2 honorary ANZACS will be sent in the morning.

Dr C, let me know when you are free and I'll get your prints to you.

Cheers!
