I happened upon an interesting post on Craigslist this evening, indicating that there is a new The Camera Trader store opening up! According to the post:

"the camera Trader opening a new store at 800 south jason street we are open from 11 to 4 monday through friday super sale on antique cameras and collectibles."

Anyone know anything about it? I'm very curious!

Interesting. It is in the same location as Denver Pro Photo. Maybe where Ray (the repair guy) used to be??

Good news. But 11 to 4 weekdays?

I checked him out over lunch today. Yup, he's in Ray's old space, basically a 12x12 office. He's packed it with a really wide variety of stuff, a little bit of everything. For instance, I at least partially alleviated my spring GAS attack with a Minolta auto winder, a Manfrotto quick-release plate, and a couple hippy straps. The 11-4 hours are because he still does his banner printing business at home. Before leaving, I stepped into ProPhoto and saw they have a lot of film in stock. Didn't see any 100ft rolls, though.

I notice that he's listing some of his items on Craigslist now, too.
